Project Manager, Molecular Diagnostics Research Position: Project Manager, Molecular Diagnostics Research Role: Project Manager Location: Louisville, KY Description In this role, you are responsible for managing a portfolio of projects which provide research services to life science companies. These services include facilitating the identification, enrollment and event monitoring of research participants. You have experience in clinical trials, ideally in biomarker or other molecular diagnostics research, protocol design, research methods, bio-statistical analyses, and interpretation of results. You will manage large projects, are familiar with health plan claims data, possess excellent management and communication skills and have a naturally-strong attention to detail. You have a broad understanding of the healthcare industry and the pharmaceutical industry in particular, as well as health services research and health policy. Accountabilities: Managing and coordinating necessary internal resources and external vendors across a portfolio of research projects Participating in the design of biomarker diagnostic research studies Translating study protocols into the specifications for the identification, recruitment and monitoring of study participants Coordinating the capture, analysis and transfer of data from Humana's databases and ensuring accuracy, validity and integrity of resulting research databases Ensuring compliance with all IRB and HIPAA requirements for research and privacy. Coordination with internal finance on all vendor contracts and financial impacts Interpreting and communicating key findings to Humana's internal business areas Lead efforts to communicate findings, identify new opportunities and cultivate understanding and interest biomarker research. Providing expert consultation to collaboration partners to support analytic needs within defined research domains.
