We are currently looking to hire a Project Manager – Experienced Engineer with Food/Beverage Packaging for our Modesto office.

 

Position Mission

 

This position is responsible for managing the layout, design, integration, and installation of West Coast beverage packaging lines including utilities, piping, support systems, drawing packages, proposals, line controls, equipment procurement, contractor management, training, and start-up.  The position will also involve business development, office management, and significant customer interaction.

 

Education

 

Bachelor of Science – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

 

Experience

 

7+ years direct industry experience

Specific Experience:  Engineering and Management of integration and installation of major packaging lines.  Beverage Packaging Line Production and/or Maintenance work history.

Skills Technical:  Strong engineering and project management skills including machinery applications, computer skills & overall application of theory to packaging projects.

Communicate with customers, vendors and Design Group employees at all levels of responsibility.

Effectively manage time and budget.

 

Travel Requirements

 

40-60% travel will be required on a sporadic basis to support installation and start-up activities.  The vast majority of this travel will be regional.
