To accommodate this demand we are currently searching for customer focused team-oriented individuals to join us and contribute to the growth of Chevron Energy Solutions while developing their career with a major international energy company. Chevron Energy Solutions is currently searching for Project Managers in the California Bay Area and the Los Angeles-San Diego areas. The Project Manager will be the primary manager of all phases of a Chevron Energy Solutions project, with the objective of a successful completion on time, and within budget, while maintaining Chevron Energy Solutions’ quality, safety, and cash management standards and producing strong customer references. Project size can range from $500,000 to $5 million and the Project Manager must be able to manage at least two substantial projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities: •Perform energy analysis or review analysis performed by others for all project scopes. •Be responsible for a quality and complete feasibility and/or comprehensive energy report. •Be responsible that all published reports and other CES legal commitments are properly risk reviewed. •Be primarily responsible, with limited assistance from the supervisor, for establishing the cost budget during the FEA/CEA for each project. •Establish a professional relationship with the Customer to correctly identify their objectives and tailor the CEA accordingly. •Prepare and negotiate, in conjunction with Legal, Finance, and the supervisor, all project contracts and change orders. •Be responsible for managing all cost components of the project during implementation, and maintain precise and updated actual costs vs. budget throughout the project. •Be responsible for immediately notifying the supervisor upon determining that a project may be, or is, over budget or under staffed. •Immediately notify supervisor of any significant problems on projects immediately as they occur. •The Project Manager shall understand and follow the Chevron Energy Solutions' Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) manual. •Candidate may be required to travel up to 40% of the time. Required Qualifications: •Bachelors Degree in an Engineering, Architecture, or Science discipline from an accredited university or college •A minimum of 8 years of relevant project management experience is required •Strong proficiency in energy analysis as well as engineering design in an energy-related discipline is required. •Proficiency at conducting HVAC, lighting/electrical, and controls surveys, analyzing ECM costs and savings, and completely understanding all ECM technologies being proposed •Strong Cogeneration skills and experience will be required for some projects. Preferred Qualifications: •A Professional Engineer’s license is highly preferred •Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is highly preferred If you are selected for the position, Chevron employment will be contingent upon submission to and successful completion of a physical, drug and alcohol screening, and background check.
