PURPOSE: Working in a cross-functional role, you will partner with teams from Finance, Merchandising, Transportation, Distribution, Stores and Technical Services, to develop and analyze supply chain strategies, driving innovation through the successful implementation of company initiatives that support in-stock improvement and reduced supply chain expense. SEE YOURSELF: 1. Developing supply chain concepts and strategies. Clearly identifying opportunities resulting from alternative solutions. 2. Performing project feasibility studies, defining scope and cost/benefit analysis in support of recommendations. 3. Developing procedures, timetables, approval schedules and allocation of resources to deliver results on time. 4. Updating key partners regarding the status of project; monitoring the progress of projects and taking appropriate steps to ensure that project objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner. 5. Compiling the analysis to gain approval for commitment of resources and investment. 6. Benchmarking other industries and retailers to stay abreast of supply chain trends. REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: You will be working with Senior Leaders on the Planning and Engineering team. JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Four year degree * Project management experience * Conceptual, analytical and strategic thinking skills * Organizational, planning, and time management skills * Ability to communicate effectively and influence others to achieve a common objective * Ability to work in a team oriented environment DESIRED REQUIREMENTS: * MBA or advanced degree See The Rewards
