Our Client, a well-established company on the Food/Beverage Manufacturing Industry, is currently seeking a Project Engineer for their plant in Southern New Hampshire. This positions REQUIRES at least 3-5 years in the Food/Beverage Manufacturing Inudstry!! The individual in this position is responsible for the planning, development and coordination of technical, infrastructure projects of various scopes. This person remains actively involved in all aspects of assigned projects to include conception, development and implementation to completion. He/She will also be responsible in conducting infrastructure assessments & analysis analyzing the L&S (USA) technical and operational functions and determining opportunities for infrastructure improvements. The ideal candidate will also be required to Conduct research and data analysis to identify opportunities that will provide cost effective, long and short term solutions. The Project Engineer must also (1) conduct feasibility analysis for proposed solutions to accommodate production, QA and management requirements in an optimal solution changes or requirements, (2) conduct cost assessments that support proposed solutions to infrastructure, and (3) develop and propose viable solutions. The Job Description also includes more involvement in:
- Determining, implementing and executing a timeline for development, implementation and follow up on all approved projects; Ensure timelines are met without compromising quality and cost.
- Coordinating engineering and construction projects including bid process and vendor shipment coordination; Coordinate with on-site personnel including construction crews and employees.
- Sourcing and coordinating vendors, contractors and other service providers as required.
- Working with Supervisors, equipment vendor and/or outside resource to develop training procedure for new equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in project and process engineering & project management with at least 3-5 years in a Food Manufacturing environment
- Masters or Bachelors degree
- Experience in developing technical solutions for infrastructure-related issues that arise; working directly with internal customers to identify problems and develop viable solutions that address short and long-term concerns.
- Experience in proposing solutions for improvement.
