Volt Technical Resources has partnered with a successful, global leader in aerospace out of the Arlington, VA area in the search for a Civil Engineer with a background in road construction. If you are someone who is skilled and interested in the following type of position, then we would love to hear from you! The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge and experience to complete the following tasks: * Build roads in the South West states, Arizona in particular. * Knowledge of the construction processes and procedures, the environment, and the climate in Arizona. *This person will interface with a subcontractor on the plan, schedule, and statement of work for road construction. ** Job is estimated to be at least 2 months with a need for permanent hire. ** Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ***TRAVEL: Assignment requires travel to Virginia, Alabama, and Arizona (including remote sites along the Arizona/Mexico border).***

Requirements:
Technical Skills/Education Required: * Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Civil Engineering. Typically 9 to 13 years experience in an engineering classification with a bachelor's degree OR a master's degree with 7 to 11 years experience OR a Ph.D. with 4 to 8 years experience in an engineering classification. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Volt is an EOE. Connecting talented people with respected companies.
