A chemical manufacturer in south Arkansas is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage capital projects. MUST have a BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering and at least 10 years experience in chemical or petrochemical project management. Will manage projects from conception to scope, estimating, scheduling, procurement, installation, startup. Must be experienced with API tank specifications, ASME vessel specifications, piping specifications, EPA, and OSHA requirements. Should be familiar with exotic materials of construction, such as titanium, tantalum, glass-lined equipment, thermoplastics and fiberglass reinforced plastics ( FRP ). Excellent benefits are provided and relocation is available. Questions you will be asked:
• Do you have a degree in ME or ChE? Explain.
• Please summarize your project engineering experience in chemical or petrochemical plants.
• What exotic materials of construction have you worked with, e.g. titanium, tantalum, glass-lined equipment, thermoplastics and FRP.
• Have you worked with API tank specs, ASME vessel specs, etc. - explain.
• Where do you live? Will you relocate to Magnolia Arkansas?
