Project Engineer
Lead project engineer (s) for programs within the Power Systems Enterprise. Product families contained within the enterprise include Auxiliary Power Units (APU) and aircraft Fan systems.

Major responsibilities include:

Key focus on project execution of technical requirements to budget and schedule through implementation of the Program Management System Standard (PMSS) and the (IPD) Integrated Product Development Team process.

Working knowledge of processes and procedures as detailed in SP1056 and TS6001/6005 is desired.

Experience in resolving Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) through the use of the applicable ACE tools is required for improving design integrity and standard work practices.

Strong communication and teaming skills (working with internal & external customers & suppliers), and be skilled with all MS Office computer software products, particularly MS Project and MS Excel.

A working knowledge of Earned Value (EV) project performance management techniques is required. Hands-on experience with APUs or gas turbines is also preferred.

Specific experience with JDE, Strategy, EIS, Tiger and the Electronic Action Request (eAR) system is preferred.
