PROJECT COORDINATOR

Overall Summary:  This individual is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating projects requiring the retrieval, research and evaluation of consumer products on behalf of major consumer product manufacturing companies throughout the USA.  Openings are located at our Orland Park, Illinois and Darien, Illinois locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Respond to client requests for service with proposals that meet the client’s project goals and business objectives.

Delegate retrieval assignments to field agents and monitor their work on the project including data reporting, packaging and shipping of products to meet client time lines.

Utilize computer systems and databases to create project documentation and perform timely on-line updates. 

Provide written proposals for Clients utilizing.   Provide ongoing communications with clients to ensure that a strong positive business relationship is maintained, including client web reporting.

Confirm the project design criteria, resolves issues that occur during project, and follows-up on any client questions.

Coordinate project execution to ensure all aspects of the projects are performed efficiently and accurately utilizing telephone, computer programs, internet and

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree. 1 to 2 years project experience preferred.  Food, beverage, HBA or retail consumer goods experience preferred.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills are essential. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word experience is required.

Experience in the consumer products industry, especially grocery or food service in supermarkets, warehousing, inventory management or purchasing is highly desirable
