CH2M Hill is looking for a Sr. Project Controls Manager for their Honolulu office. Responsibilities for the execution of all project controls processes and systems on EPC at-risk projects within the GF&I PACOM region include:
· Provide cost and schedule benefits/risks in determining go/no-go decisions for new business opportunities and in assessing risk management for proposed projects.· Direct the effort in GF&I (PACOM) to advance the use of EVMS cost/schedule integration with the goal of improving business group financial performance and client satisfaction. Prepare and analyze margin metric status against the annual business plan. Report findings and recommendations to business group president and vice-presidents.· Promote coordination with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Project Delivery Managers. Participate in monthly Project Review Meetings covering project overview, schedule, cost performance, revenue, accruals, subcontracting plan/strategy, changes, risks/opportunities, quality, team performance, issues/challenges and client satisfaction.· During new project set-up, assure appropriate and consistent use of standard work breakdown structures (WBS) that join engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and commissioning of major projects. · Collaborate with Project Delivery Managers, Construction Services Managers, and Program Managers in developing the best practices and procedures for providing accurate and timely status of project progress while utilizing the latest project controls technology, tools, and software. Coordinate with the GF&I Project Controls Director to ensure the utilization of standard Project Controls procedures and processes.· Focus on change management throughout each EPC project phase and work with project management to develop and implement procedures and processes to address client related and internal change issues and their effect on the total cost and schedule of a project.· Perform the more difficult and complex aspects of project control activities, ensuring that all project control activities related to cost management and schedule management are executed in a timely fashion and in accordance with all company standards and contractual requirements. Ensure that Project Controls managers and staff employ the policies and procedures to comply with corporate and client program requirements.

Qualifications Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or related degree required. Fifteen years planning/scheduling and cost engineering experience in an engineering and construction environment, including earned value (cost performance index/schedule performance index) and baseline (change) management on at-risk lump sum projects required. Ten years of experience with Primavera Project Planner, MS Access, Word and Excel. In addition to the basic qualifications, the ideal candidate would meet the following preferred qualifications: Master's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management preferred. Professional Engineering (PE) License, Certified Cost Engineer, and Project Management Professional preferred.
