DRS Technical Services Inc - Air Force Operations Division is seeking a dynamic individual as a Project Control Analyst (PCA) Program Specialist.  This individual will provide support to Program Managers as required.  This individual will work with the Air Force and required resources to achieve project objectives to include SOW requirements.

 

Position Summary

Individual will be responsible for preparation of costs associated with DoD projects Post Award and when needed proposals and other documentation required to compute cost factors in direct support of DRS Technologies Engineering & Logistics Air Force Operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Also required to utilize resources to achieve project objectives to include SOW requirements on task orders.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Individual will prepare estimates used for management projects in tracking financials Estimate at Completion Reports, work breakdown schedule, profit and loss, revenue, management of labor pool, verification of labor categories and planning, organizing and scheduling work in relation to current contracts/ delivery orders, vendors and subcontractor compliance, FAR/DFAR, and determine cost effectiveness all within stringent time constraints; will set up labor estimates for potential projects and /or follow-on work, will review subcontractor and vendor data to determine material and labor requirements. Prepare itemized lists with validation and comparision data; will utilize specialized kowledge of contracting and pricing methodologies, techniques, principals and processes and will apply according to the particular services performed, type of product/service, phase of work involved, production/labor costs, and material costs; will create and adapt various reports and  spreadsheets to rapidly changing circumstances, will analyze and track proposed data received from subcontractors/vendors; and will support senior management in their efforts to solidify contractual cost incurred, pricing and cost analysis.  Individual will coordinate with government and contractor personnel to accomplish tasks. In addition must be able to work from engineering drawings, technical specifications/manual or schematics. Must be familiar with data conversion or techincal/commerical manual development.  Additional duties to include: project work order scheduling, materials planning, purchasing, minor maintenance and general contracting experience. Individual must be familiar with military, federal, state and local building codes.

 

Basic Qualifications

BA in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline, or 2-4 years direct related experience in lieu of degree, with 2 years experience in DoD environment;

Minimum of 4 years proven experience in either Finance, Accounting, Procurement required, Bid & Proposal environment or accounting/budgeting preparations, preferably in the government sector;

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing requirements

Excellent organizational skills, potential drug screening and sucessful background check required

5 years of proven Microsoft Office Pro with advanced emphasis in Excel;

Accuracy, efficiency, flexiblity and dedication to detail a must;

Excellent Customer/Communication skills both verbal and written.

 

Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge

Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, Project and Access  strongly desired, other COTS software helpful
