PROJECT/CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Location: Baltimore, Maryland; Full-Time Permanent Position

 

CCI, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced, technically proficient, Federal Market Project/Construction Manager with a belief in teamwork.  Candidates must have knowledge about every stage of the construction process from scope development to project closeout. 10+ years construction experience desired with 5+ years on projects $2M or greater.  Candidates possessing a degree in construction management desired. US Navy and / or Air Force and / or ACOE construction experience mandatory.

 

Responsibilities to include: planning and insuring adherence to the construction schedule; coordination with senior managers, vendors, architects; compliance with contract documents, conflict resolution, safety rules, quality and security requirements to maximize production and eliminate down time. Must be capable of developing project cost estimates and have knowledge of the local subcontractor market.  Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, and possess strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.  Individual will be responsible for leading and documenting meetings with subcontractors and customer.  The individual must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA, and have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance. Candidates must have 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training and Army Corp of Engineers Contractors Quality Control certification.
