We are seeking a Project Civil/Structural Engineer to work on various bridge design projects in the Boston area.

Job Description for the Project Civil/Structural Engineer:

- Prepare preliminary and final designs for bridge structures.

- Duties also include performing structural calculations for superstructure and substructures design, preparing design details, and assisting in preparation of contract drawings, cost estimates and estimates.

Job Requirements for the Project Civil/Structural Engineer:

- BS in Civil Engineering, Masters degree preferred, and 3 to 5 years experience in designing bridges for Massachusetts Highway Department.

- Familiarity with MHD design procedures and policies, as well as Auto CAD and structural engineering software is also required.

- Familiarity with Finite Element and discrete element analysis would be a plus

- We are looking for people with #1 New Bridge Design Experience (Concrete/Steel or some timber) #2 Existing Bridge rehab design experience #3 Bridge Inspection and Rating experience.

- MA Highway experience is a must!
