We are currently seeking a Project Accounting Team Lead to join our office located in San Francisco, CA.

PROJECT ACCOUNTING TEAM LEAD - San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities:
Manage accounting activities for Union Bank Of California, Project Accounting team covering approximately 130 ongoing projects
Oversee Capital budgets preparation, project spend and fee allocation
Develop and implement all necessary accounting and financial guidelines, process controls, and procedures
Oversee JLL internal reviews and audits
Closely monitor and review all client deliverables including project close-outs and month-end reporting
Maintain a thorough understanding of the client accounting structure for project management and associated systems
Communicate all client project management financial requirements to the JLL project team, and keep the client abreast of the financial performance on projects
Interface with client's finance team to resolve all accounting issues, and prepare ad hoc reports as requested by client
Manage and maintain the Business Units and its proper mapping to clients Responsibility Codes
Ensure proper accounting systems and processes are in place and maintained in accordance with GAAP
Manage the operation, staffing and development of the Project Management Accounts Payable team

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 3 plus years experience in construction, project management or real estate accounting
Ability to work and effectively multi-task in an ever changing, pressure environment
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledge of real estate accounting software is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Acrobat/Adobe
