Cinram, with over 20 facilities in six different countries, is the world’s largest manufacturer of entertainment media and leads the industry in advancement of new technology.  We are currently looking for a:

 

Programmer

 

* Location; either Aurora, Illinois (preferred) or Simi Valley, California

 

 

Some of the specific duties include:

 

* Software development, modification and testing

* Day-to-day support of operations across multiple distribution sites

* Problem identification and root cause resolution

* Adhoc queries, reporting and/or analysis

* Communicate with the user community, both internal and direct with Cinram customers

 

 

Requirements:

 

* 5(+) years of Cobol programming

* 5(+) years of distribution and warehouse inventory management software experience

* PkMS experience preferred

* Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and/or Unix experience is a plus

* Must have very solid verbal and written communication skills

* Knowledge and experience with Pre-recorded Video or Music products also a plus

* Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

 

 

Other:

 

* Work hours are minimally 8 to 5, with 24/7 on call requirements.
