Duties of Position:
The Program Manager will be responsible for the administrative and operational leadership of Information Warfare (IW) and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) projects within program guidelines and serve as the primary customer contact for specific efforts to assure responsiveness to customer needs and effective professional conduct. Specifically, the Program Manager will manage medium to large programs with a diverse staff possessing a wide range of skills, talent and experiences; respond to changing customer requirements while maintaining a stable staff; manage performance of Centurum and approved subcontractors, while staying on top of financial performance and reporting of technical performance; and assist the General Manager/Director of Operations in program expansion, customer related business development and marketing across related markets.
Education Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Business. Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Fifteen (15) years of technical experience in support of Information Warfare Systems and Programs, to include Equipment Support, System Support, and Programmatic Support. Eight (8) years Program Management Experience, to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning. Five (5) years as manager of SPAWAR programs. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
General Requirements:
The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to establish a solid and respected working relationship with customers, technical staff and peers. Must be able to develop new business opportunities across myriad business sectors. The preferred candidate must also have a strong background in system development, systems engineering, systems integration, operational support and life cycle support. This position requires a self-starter knowledgeable in both DoD and Information Warfare (specifically Cryptologic Systems) communities.
Remarks:
Travel to various locations may be required. The successful candidate must maintain eligibility for at least a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance, with a TS/SCI preferred.
