CWCEC is a division within Curtiss-Wright specializing in open systems architectures for severe environment and high end computing applications.
Description: The Program Support Manager ideally will have a background in the defense industry or subset of that industry, particularly with heavy brigade combat systems (ground vehicles) experience. A working knowledge of subsystems functionality within ground vehicles is required in order to identify customer requirements and to assist the customer in developing solutions for new and existing programs. They must have strong communication skills and an ability to develop relationships in order to provide excellent quality and comprehensive support at the business and technical levels.
Position Responsibilities:1. Provide On-site customer program management support by managing an on-site customer office:
o Attend daily/weekly customer meetings
o Available during business hours to provide immediate assistance to customer
o Develop and give presentations to customers
o Provide insight to new potential business opportunities within the account and lead effort to open that discussion with CW Sales team members
o Lead daily/weekly status conference calls with Curtiss-Wright business units to provide timely customer feedback
o As needed, travel to Curtiss-Wright business units to provide status updates
2. Provide general program management support:
o Ensure all customers' requirements on each and every production contract is obtained, communicated internally, and met.
o Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in overall service, on time delivery, and quality
o Provide project planning assistance and support including:
§ Statement of work development, work definition, project integration, work breakdown structure, schedule and financial planning, work authorization, cost-schedule-performance control, technical performance measurement, risk management, and technical reviews and audits.

Ø Familiarity with government contract regulations/DFAR/government cost accounting

Ø Strong project planning skills to include: Statement of work development, work definition, project integration, work authorization, cost-schedule-performance control, technical performance measurement, risk management, and technical reviews and audits.

Minimum Education requirements:
- B.S Engineering discipline EE, SW
- Advanced technical or business degree preferred.
Minimum Experience Required:
7+ years program management experience in high – level, complex manufacturing environment, preferably for defense-related industry
