The University of Nevada School of Medicine Multi Specialty Group Practice South, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a Program Manager Nevada for the Tobacco Users’ Helpline, the state of Nevada’s Tobacco Quit line. Will provide administrative direction and is the primary contact of the Nevada Tobacco Users’ Helpline Responsibilities include program development, implementation, and evaluation; compliance with all Federal, state, and university policies and regulations; state and national program liaison including participation on state and national workgroups, committees, and coalitions; directing program evaluation and outcome data reports for state and national reporting and research.
Successful applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree, Masters Degree preferred in Health Promotion and Public Health, and two years of experience in health program planning, development, and implementation and project management. Must have knowledge of public health program evaluation and outcome data reporting, administration of contracts and grants. Applicant must have strong oral and written communication to prepare reports, proposals, grant applications, recommendations and professional education.
