Purpose:

Manages all aspects of the company’s business relationship with designated customers ensuring goals or objectives of a program are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Principle Accountabilities:

 

The Program Manager will:

Primary contact for negotiations with customer on all contracts, pricing and other business items. Responsible for customer satisfaction and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) collection and reviews and corrective actions. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of program, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of customer focus team personnel. Confers with Customer Focus Team (CFT) to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority. Directs and coordinates activities of customer focus team and required support areas to ensure program progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Reviews status reports prepared by team personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares program reports and presentations for management, client or others. Confers with Customer Focus Team (CFT) to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. Coordinates program activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies. Participates in Profit and Loss (P&L) analysis, responsible for tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results. Travel as required. 



Requirements:

The qualified candidate will have:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience. A Masters degree is preferred. Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in program administration/ management or related area. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
