Summary

Our Client is seeking a Program Manager to support the overall relationship, profitability and business development of an assigned group of customers and with a moderate level of direction and support. In this position, you will: Develop and implement strategies to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and growth. Be responsible for certain day-to-day requirements of the assigned customers. Provide direction to internal teams and personnel in support of both day-to-day and long-term objectives. Manage high quality communications between client and the customer at appropriate levels; including senior management, new product development (business and engineering contacts) and the ongoing business office as necessary. Understand and communicate customer needs and interests to other departments Support the development of new product specifications that will provide customers with technologically advanced and cost-effective solutions and which provide proper direction to manufacturing and engineering groups for quotation purposes. Work with senior level Program Manager regarding overall relationship, pricing, margins, profitability, and business development strategies. With a strong technological focus, over 200 engineers give imposing engineering design capabilities. They are smart, inventive, passionate about their work, and able to effectively communicate with the customer and every department along the way as the product goes from concept to reality.

You will work on-site at their New Product Introduction Center, which is nestled in North Dakota State University's Research and Technology Park in Fargo. The technology park, which houses more than a dozen groups, is a place for university research and industry to leverage and combine their strengths in pursuit of new technologies and advanced applications.
 
Also a home to other high-tech companies such as Microsoft, Fargo, North Dakota, boasts a cost of living lower than the national average. Forbes magazine ranked the Fargo-Moorhead metro area fourth out of 168 small metro areas in the nation to do business and advance careers. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline 3+ years experience in electronics design and/or electronics manufacturing, including experience in an OEM or Tier One sales and/or Program Management role. Strong client management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills; ability to work autonomously. Good business acumen (previously demonstrated financial, P&L responsibility and accountability is preferred). Willing to undertake both national and international travel, 25% or less. Background in the agriculture, construction, or industrial equipment industry and/or electronics industry is preferred.
