Chenega Corporation Job Description Company Job: Title: Program Manager Chenega Job Title: Program Manager Location: Rucker, AL Reports To: Director of IT Services FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time Prepared Date: 03/25/2008 Summary: Dynamic IT Program Manager who will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance for an Enterprise Systems Management and Mission Support program. Responsible for management oversight in support of the Director of Information Management (DOIM) for the full range of support and services at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Responsibilities also include interfacing with government management and providing overall coordination and management of major functional areas of support including leading a technical team responsible for Service Delivery and Service Support. Support and Services provided include automation operations and security (system administration, email administration, end user/desktop support, help desk, network operations and maintenance), Telecommunications Support, Records Management, Audio/Visual Support and Publication Services. This position is contingent on award and funding of the contract. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Provide leadership, mentoring and supervision of a technical team of engineers and mission support personnel. •Provide programmatic, technical, financial and quality management aspects of project performance (i.e., contractual, administrative, deliverables management, program performance metrics and financial management) •Task Order and Contract Management •Establish and maintain technical and financial reporting •Maintain client contact, monitors and report on program progress relative to program plans, (i.e., planned vs. actual), with respect to programmatic and financial baselines. Minimum Qualifications: •8+ years of progressive demonstrated experience managing IT infrastructure and mission support programs in a government environment. •Progressive experience leading teams and mentoring staff •Knowledge of IT Service Management and key industry best practices •Working knowledge of leading Service Management tools and processes •Excellent communication skills including the ability to interface with senior executives and subject matter experts •Proficient use of office automation tools Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree in a technical discipline preferred.
