Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Programs/Projects involving cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or system to external customers. This includes developing plans and leading teams to achieve high performance results. The candidate will monitor the programs/projects from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters. He or she will organize activities ensuring completion of the programs/projects on schedule and within budget constraints, assigns and monitor the work of program staff, and provide technical support and direction.

Experience/Skills Required
Experience leading a development team in both a technical as well as administrative level. Able to make technical decisions. Able to develop, track, and maintain schedules. Able to develop cost estimates and report progress to management. Experience in customer interfacing. Security clearance a big plus. Must be willing/able to be submitted for a security clearance. Team leadership skills. Earned Value-based budget and schedule development & maintenance. Technical background - security, networking, complex systems design a plus. Customer interfacing and product evolution.  BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required.
