Description:

The Professional Associate Actuary prepares state pricing analyses and filings, respond to and interact with State Insurance Departments; implement and monitor rate revisions. Also complete non-routine projects by collecting and analyzing data, and making recommendations to management. Take and pass actuarial exams.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
College degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related field
Strong analytical skills
Strong technical/computer skills-Excel, Access (SAS knowledge is a plus)
Good interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the company and outside contacts
Successful completion of at least 1 exam is desirable
