Need (2) process engineers with extrusion and injection molding experience.  For top Arkansas company.  

Responsible for development of the process functions from the introduction of the materials to the injection molding machine (all appropriate settings, procedures, testing, etc.), to the release of the product from P&A to the warehouse, as well as performing routine engineering work and for occasionally handling minor engineering projects. Will also assist in various phases of major projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø      .Assists in the development of an engineering designed injection/extrusion process from the introduction of the raw materials to the machine through the completion of quality approved final product.

Ø      .Assists in the investigation and analysis of new materials, equipment invoices, and engineering practices.

Ø      .Prepares or assists in preparing engineering computations, estimates, surveys, statistics, and minor designs.

Ø      .Assists in analyzing quotations and bids and in developing recommendations.

Ø      .Analyzes costs for work projects.

Ø      .Performs or assists with equipment and material test studies. .Performs other related duties as required.

Ø      .Performs all other duties as may be assigned by the VP Manufacturing/ Engineering Manager.

Ø      Safety  responsible for the promotion of and adherence to all appropriate safety practices and procedures, and to continually monitor for hazards.

Ø      Quality  responsible for the quality of products and services to internal and external customers while continuously seeking improvements.

Ø      Implement solutions to continuous improvement opportunities from shop floor input.

Ø      Maintain functional control and report progress of capital projects.

Ø      Evaluate cost effectiveness of future projects and report findings.
