Description: Eaton Corporation located in Kearney, Nebraska has an opening for a Production Supervisor.

The primary function of this position is to lead, facilitate and coordinate production activities and resources per established practices and/or policies within their job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations. Establish and maintain a positive employee relations environment by adherence to Eatons Values, Ethics and Philosophies. Clearly communicate expectations and consistently hold self and employees accountable for performance.

308 Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field required.

At least 1 year (preferably at least 3 years) of Front-line supervisory experience in a manufacturing team environment.

Working knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing and quality control techniques, 5-S, Six Sigma, and Quality Systems (e.g. QS 9000, ISO 14001, TS 16949).

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint).

Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop direct reports.

Ability to work the second shift.
