Production Manager/Store Manager Trainee

If you would like to help your community by raising money in a Goodwill retail location to fund our mission of "Creating Hope Jobs and Futures in Our Community", consider a career at Goodwill.   Goodwill Industries of Monocacy Valley, Inc. is seeking a goal oriented, energetic, hard working managers for our retail store and donation processing areas in Frederick and Westminster Maryland. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and disadvantaging conditions is a plus! This position requires the ability to work evenings and weekends.

 

Responsibilities include:

Assuring monthly production and revenue goals are achieved Implement company procedures Production Standards Floor Plan-o-Grams Cashier and customer care Ensure procedures are executed and install discipline Supervision of 10 to 25 employees Daily bank deposit and cash reconciliation Employee motivation Incorporating the mission into the retail division

 

Candidate will also be responsible for assisting the store manager in conducting weekly employee meetings, and employee training.

 

Candidate must have the ability to be creative in finding solutions and a commitment to high customer service. Retail or manufacturing experience is required!

 

Candidate must have passion and a desire to improve!

 

Qualified candidate must also possess a valid driver’s license and basic computer skills. Proficiency in Excel is a plus.

 

The physical demands of the job include being able to lift 50 lbs and the ability to stand for long periods of time.
