SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

1.

Coordinates, plans, schedules and documents maintenance activities on Communications-Electronic Equipment and Flight Line Support Equipment to ensure that fully operational equipment is available when and where the application mandates.

2.

Confirms material requirements with logistics personnel to ensure proper items and priorities are requisitioned to support maintenance activities.  Provides equipment/system maintenance status updates to Range personnel.

3.

Controls and assigns job control numbers for individual maintenance actions.  Receives and documents data generated by technicians to include Equipment Hour Usage Reports (EHUR).  Processes and maintains appropriate paperwork on authorized cannibalizations and Time Compliance Tech Orders (TCTO).

4.

Interfaces with co-workers, associate contractors and users on related system maintenance requirements and tests. 

5.

Maintains Operations and Maintenance databases, performs maintenance analysis and generates maintenance status reports, develops plans and schedules and distributes (utilization rates, operational rates, mission capable rates, equipment availability rates, preventive maintenance schedules, etc.) for management purposes. 

6.

Processes Maximo/Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) data (status and inventory reporting, location lists, work center list, job data documentation and equipment status reporting, etc.).

7.

Provides  training, support and guidance to employees in the usage and operation of Maximo/IMDS.

8.

Produces monthly maintenance schedules and distributes accordingly.

9.

Produce and distribute daily equipment/system status logs, briefings and reports for management purposes.

10.

Receives and documents data generated by technicians (Equipment Status Reports, Job Data Documentation, Equipment Hour Usage Reports, etc.).

 

Other Related Duties:

Maintains historical, technical order, and Air Force manual/regulation/instruction files as required.  Distributes data deliveries as required.  Performs all other related duties as required.

EDUCATION (or Equivalent Experience):

Vocational/technical training beyond high school and a minimum of 3 years of job-related experience.  Thorough working knowledge of maintenance scheduling and documentation using Maximo/IMDS Computerized Maintenance Management System and the procedures/policies of a Maintenance Operations Center.

Core Competencies:

Skilled in the use of PC-based business applications software such as Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Outlook; ability to use the Internet and other commonly used electronic communication tools. Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively in both oral and written form.  Ability to act independently, with limited supervision, in carrying out job requirements.  Ability to travel as required by the company.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for this Position:

Ability to take responsibility for the consolidation of operation and maintenance data for both reports and analysis as required.  Must demonstrate flexibility in assigned work schedule.  Ability to effectively coordinate a variety of activities.  Ability to obtain a state of Nevada driver license.  Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary government security clearance.  Ability to gather pertinent data and provide accurate information.  Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.

Work Environment, Physical and Mental Demands:

Majority of work is in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards.  Prolonged sitting while using the computer and the telephone, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness.  Must have the ability to walk up and down stairs and the ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds.
