<P>Excellent opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager with a privately held organization that specializes in the development and sale of network test equipment in Austin, TX. </P>
<P>The Position: The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the gathering the product requirements from our existing and potential customer base. The position requires a unique combination of skills including product marketing, product management, engineering and network engineering.</P>
<P>The position will be expected to thoroughly research the market and determine our key areas of competitive strength and customer acceptance. The role will also be responsible for participating in strategic planning and pricing strategy.</P>
<P>Responsibilities:</P>
<P>- Developing and writing PRDs and messaging documents. </P>
<P>- Being a team of one. . </P>
<P>- Product evangelism and interaction with the community on the our site and other social media sites. </P>
<P>- Working with other team members on product joint value propositions.</P>
<P>The product marketing manager is expected to travel on customer sites on a regular basis, engage with sales opportunities.</P>
<P>Required skills:</P>
<P>- Ability to work in a fast-pace start-up/high growth environment that will later transition to a more structured, process driven setting. </P>
<P>- Self motivated, extremely resourceful multi-tasker</P>
<P>- Excellent writing communication and creative skills € Proven success identifying and penetrating new customer markets € Ability to identify and analyze competitors Proven project management skills € Ability to work well as an individual, as well as in a team environment.</P>
<P>Qualifications </P>
<P>- 5+ years successful networking industry knowledge.</P>
<P>- 3+ years marketing (product marketing/product management/community management) experience with networking equipment</P>
<P>- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.</P>
<P>- Must have experience working for a startup or demonstrably be suited to working in a startup environment.</P>
<P>- Must have a proven track record of consistent delivery of meeting or exceeding marketing deadlines.</P>
