Description: The Sr. Release Engineer will work closely with software development and QA engineers and will perform a variety of tasks related to product development, including: Implementing build and installation process - this includes build and deployment automation, creating automation scripts to support engineering build processes. The candidate would be joining a small existing team of Release Engineers.

Responsibilities:
•Developing installation packages.
•The candidate will also be responsible for other general release engineering functions such as source control administration, release management tasks and general tool development.
•Performing daily software builds and deployments to development environments.
•Writing and updating Install and Release notes documentation.
•Interacting with customers on miscellaneous technical issues.

Skills: The following are required:
•Solid knowledge of source control and bug tracking tools. E.g.: CVS, Perforce, PVCS, TeamTrack, etc
•Experience developing and maintaining software installation packages using Macrovision Installshield, Wise Package Studio, or WiX
•Understanding Windows Installer (MSI).
•Knowledge of scripting languages, e.g. Perl, VBScript, Batch.
•Good documentation and communications skills.
•Experience in system integration and configuration of hardware and software.

Desired:
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and tools.
• Some experience in software testing and automation scripts
• Patch, Service Pack, SMS authoring or rollout experience.
• C# .NET experience a plus

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience is required
