POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Product Manager of CT Colonography and Film products is rresponsible for global upstream marketing activities of iCAD’s CT Colonography product(s) and the SecondLook 300 and TotalLook platforms. The position requires extensive interaction with various Company departments, customers and industry partners. The product manager drives, supports, and coordinates activities related to specific products from inception through release and sales. Responsibility spans early pre-release products through updates to mature product lines.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately define customer needs based upon quantitative and qualitative dataInterdisciplinary task force leader to ensure cross-functional readiness to launchWork closely with various departments on completion of milestones to ensure timely product releases.Communicate project status and challenges and make recommendations for swift and appropriate resolutionManage relationships with development partners and key suppliersBuild and support relationships with key clinical partners and show sitesCollaborate with R&D and strategic partners to accurately translate customer needs into functional requirements and product features for current platformManage product life-cycle and plan obsolescenceDevelop transition plans and upgrades for older equipment to current platformWork with marketing team to develop transition plans and upgrade strategies Develop all relevant financial analysis and plansDevelop effective, efficient demo plans for iCAD, Distributors and imaging OEMsLiaise with all support teams (MFG, R&D, Distribution, Quality, Regulatory, Sales) to successfully forecast and plan inventory requirementsAnalyze existing business according to various segmentations to understand the sales process, the customers, and reasons for winning or losing business.Support and provide content for development of product positioning, marketing communications material, collateral, ads, press releases, Marcom collateral, Ads, press releases, etc.Support and prepare materials for sales trainingDevelopment of forecast and revenue projections – Units/ASPAssist with downstream marketing efforts including development of promotions and programs designed to increase sales of current SecondLook 300/200 and TotalLook products worldwide from iCAD’s direct sales teams and from imaging OEMs
REQUIREMENTS:
BS or equivalent is required, MBA preferredMinimum of 3 years Product Management experience in medical industry (medical devices
