CITY: Charlottesville STATE: Virginia COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): * Responsible for identifying, articulating and synthesizing global market requirements that will define the CSB software that GE Fanuc is to develop, market and sell. * This includes development of business cases, competitive analysis, win/loss analysis, use cases, lifecycle management, pricing models, SAP, MFR/MRD's & MGPP's. Works closely with engineering and/or outside resources to facilitate the execution of the new product developments and manage the ongoing process/tradeoffs of the NPI's. * Works with product marketing, MarCom, and global customer care to develop commercial launch materials for selling and supporting offerings. * Works closely with functional groups to ensure necessary and effective sales, channels / partners, support, training, and services capability (GEF and / or PSP) for controller offerings. * Key subject matter expert to assist sales, reps, distributors, and strategic solution providers on pre-sale and post-sale efforts. * Must be able to develop content for whitepapers, sales collateral, demos, press releases, events and sit on panels as needed to drive standards. Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. * Technical knowledge of control systems and the software requirements for tools that provide a complete environment for development, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of such controls. * Industry/Application knowledge in discrete and process markets, including understanding of the competitive landscape. * Knowledge of control standards such as IEC 61508, IEC 61511, IEC 1131, and IEC 1499. Ability to interpret and develop with engineering the best possible methods to adhere. * Knowledge of software operating systems (Vista, Linux), development environments (.NET) web technologies and how they interact with business systems and control environments. * Experience in managing cross-functional and cross-business teams, strong collaboration skills. * Commercial savvy and strategic thinking. * Must have a proven track record of tactical execution. * Must have proven leadership skills. * Must have excellent presentation skills and be an excellent communicator both verbally and in written form. * Willingness to travel. * Financial acumen =============================================== GE Applicants: * You must submit application online via COS to be considered.
