CITY: Englewood Cliffs STATE: New Jersey COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): The Product Manager, CNBC Digital, is charged to increase the profitability of existing products and develop new products for the company, specific to CNBC's digital applications (video, web, mobile etc.) They must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. They will work with their counterparts in Research, Editorial, Design & Development to define product release requirements and will work with Marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping set the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. They will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for their product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers. Manages the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. Specifies market requirements for current and future products by participating in market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. Drives solution sets across development teams (primarily Project Management, Development, Editorial and Marketing) through market requirements and positioning. Working with Marketing, develops and implements product launch plans. Executes on partner relationships for the product. Proposes & executes on new release product plans, recommending key new features/fixes, and their priority. Working with Project Managers, directs functional specifications & change requests. Helps prioritize product bugs & issues for correction. Writes documentation & whitepapers for internal & external partners/customers related to productizing / integrating a given solution. Develops & executes on customer retention programs. Evaluates consumer pathways and recommend product improvements based on segment behavior & activity. Runs competitive analysis program for various digital products. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or Computer Science Minimum 5 years of software marketing/product management experience Minimum 3 years in a finance/investing industry Must have knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, ASP, ASPX, AJAX, Flash, and .NET Eligibility Requirements: Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered (note job#: 815787 ). Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Desired: MBA a plus.
