McNeil Nutritionals, LLC, is headquartered in Fort Washington, PA. The Product Director will manage the development and execution of healthcare professional marketing platforms. Specifically, this position will play a critical role in contributing to brand growth through identifying and implementing programs to educate and motivate the healthcare professional to support and recommend McNeil Nutritionals' products to targeted patient populations. In addition to executing existing HCP programs, the candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and platforms to strengthen the relationship between McNeil Nutritionals and the healthcare professional and their patients. The candidate will participate in marketing communication and strategic planning, in addition to implementing tactics targeted to the healthcare professional. The position will also collaborate with Product Director counterparts in consumer marketing initiatives as it relates to health-oriented messaging and initiatives that utilize the Healthcare professional as a channel to reach patient. The position also requires the ability to work within the white space of strategic marketing. To achieve these objectives, the candidate must have a strong understanding of healthcare professionals and healthcare marketplace dynamics. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in marketing products to the consumer as well as to the healthcare professional. This position requires working closely with various functional areas inside the organization as well as with outside professional associations, KOLs and other influencers. The candidate will interact closely with the Brand Team and the Strategic Marketing team to identify programs and platforms that work synergistically to build brand equity and drive growth. This position also requires working closely with Medical Affairs, Communications, Market Research and Sales to develop, champion, execute and measure integrated programs to support corporate and brand objectives.
A BS/Undergraduate Degree is required. An MBA, or MA or MS in Nutrition, Sciences or related Health Degree is strongly preferred. RD, RPH, RN or other medical related certification or license is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of healthcare professional marketing experience with OTC and/or Pharmaceuticals and/or niche markets including product management experience is required. OTC and Rx marketing experience is required. Healthcare advertising experience is preferred. Healthcare professional sales and/or healthcare professional field experience as well as experience with healthcare compliance is preferred. Required Skills/Abilities: In-depth understanding of healthcare professional marketing and sales business processes and strategy practices. Experience in consumer marketing specifically Direct-to-Patient and Direct-to-Consumer is required. Highly developed communication and interdependent partnering skills to interface with senior management and cross-functional teams. Must have strong strategic thinking, business capabilities and analytics and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations to deliver business growth. Strong budget administration and financial management skills. Diversified and extensive experience in identifying programs within the healthcare professionals' realm, and managing the development through internal processes. Demonstrated creative expertise and business development experience. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate complex business situations. Ability to champion projects and meet deadlines in order to deliver results in a timely manner. This position will require up to 10% domestic travel to be expected.
