This position is primarily responsible for leading new product development and product enhancement initiatives. The Product Development Manager will drive business growth through the development and launch of new consumer solutions.

Responsibilities:

Manage several assigned product lines during their entire lifecycle, including:

Manage the concept and planning of products/products enhancements that are consistent with overall business strategy and objectives Develop market/product requirements based on market analysis and customer input Manage cross-functional team to ensure successful integration of product design, product development and marketing activities Serve as subject matter expert and product line champion. Develop and present business case for innovative products, and expansion of the product line. Maintain understanding of market, technology and competitive trends. Identify, articulate and prioritize customer needs and market requirements.  Create, submit and present monthly product update to stakeholders on product roadmap as well as market trends and analysis

 

Required Skills:

 

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Technology or Business 3-5 years experience in Product Development and Product Management, managing the inception, development, and launch of successful products Ability to ascertain customer’s business needs through knowledge of their business, success factors, and key performance measures Strong analytical skills, whether understanding the customer’s business needs, or identifying trends in the customer request data Ability to influence the development of the technical product architecture to ensure it evolves to meet business needs Working knowledge of web-based technology and a track record development technology based services Must be a good facilitator and have excellent verbal communication skills Proactive, self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision Excellent organization skills and attention to detail MS-Office and Visio skills
