The purpose of the department is to ensure profitable growth and increase market share through market intelligence, product/price/risk management, premium development, operational management and targeted growth.

 

The scope of this job is product development and consulting using competitive intelligence and pricing analysis for personal lines insurance business in Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

 

The individual will be responsible for:

analyzing and interpreting demographic, economic and competitor data to identify markets displaying the greatest potential for balanced growth and profitaccessing, analyzing and predicting competitor movement by enrolling and influencing leadership to implement necessary strategies to obtain an competitive advantage in the marketplaceinfluencing and leading strategies to improve price, product and risk management performance and profitabilityevaluating business financials and statistics to make strategic recommendations that will result in profitable line growthdeveloping measurement standards and databases and completing regular financial analysis to evaluate the performance of Allstate and competitor initiatives

Intermediate - Presentation DevelopmentIntermediate - Organization and Project Management effectivenessIntermediate - Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and meet challenges in completing work Intermediate - application of standardized mathematical concepts to solve problems and prepare reports for analysis.  Ability to leverage technical skills in support of team objectivesIntermediate - effective communication in working with others in everyday situations.  Requires ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers

Experience Required:
Work with and/or study of analytical concepts, principles of insurance and major software preferred

 

Computer Proficiency:
Microsoft software including Outlook, EXCEL, PowerPoint, ACCESS and Word

 

Education:
College Degree  - Preferred
