POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Procurement Supervisor for Indirect Materials reports to the Director of Procurement for PH/HC and lead a work unit of buyers in Emeryville. This position will be responsible for the supply of non-GMP material, Services and Capital Expenditures and will negotiate and manage local contracts. The Supervisor will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and ensures an adequate networking with internal customers, strategic sourcing and the procurement colleagues in Berkeley.

• Leads a work unit, is responsible for the local procurement activities in Emeryville and
ensures compliance with the policies
• Is the interface to Production, Strategic Sourcing and Accounting
• Develops and implements process improvements and achieves cost reductions
• Reports and plans on-site related KPI’s, SAP and compliance reports

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS 8+ years
• MBS/MS 2-6+ years
• PhD 2-4 years
• Demonstrates high level of urgency and adapts to changing priorities
• Ability to work in fast paced environment, while balancing conflicting priorities
• Experience in SAP, e-commerce systems, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint .
