The Process Improvement Manager will report to the Chief Financial Officer. His/Her main responsibilities include: Provide overall leadership of Company Process Improvements, Quality and SAS 70 Develop common methodology and language for process improvements Establish an overall company process map Assist Senior Management in prioritizing areas of process improvements Work with Process Owners to initiate process improvement teams in their areas Initiate SAS 70 pre-assessment leading to a type II audit in 2009 The Process Improvement Manager will be responsible for establishing a corporate quality management system and team that promotes customer satisfaction that will positively impact the financial performance of the company. The individual will champion continuous improvement efforts and defect/re-work reduction initiatives to establish an effective Quality Management System (QMS); initiate and implement quality improvement activities as appropriate (e.g. ISO-9001, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to raise the performance of the company's operations and effectively tie process improvement initiatives to companys financial performance. Experience and Skills:
At least 7 years of experience in process improvement or Quality programs Bachelors degree Proven leadership and initiative Management of a team of professionals Strong interpersonal skills in working with others Strong organizational abilities Familiarity with financial and statistical analysis, CMM, and other process improvement/Quality methodologies Six Sigma and/or ASQ certification Familiarity with software development methodologys and QA testing methodologys Experience with statistical process control Solid written and verbal communication skills Team player approach to accomplishing assignments ISO 9001:2000 experience
