Description: Accountable for change management, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and capability training, and team development for the Process Execution Team (PET). Through a focus on continuous improvement, the Coach works with the PET Lead to ensure that members of the PET are progressing appropriately based on the skills/need matrix for their role; successfully moving through change, and they are receiving capability development in key areas required for successful team functioning.
Major Responsibilities:
· Member of PET leadership accountable for PET achievement of key business process metrics, team performance metrics and continuous improvement metrics
· Develop and sustain employee skills needs matrix; lead the identification of training and development needs consistent with the skills needs matrix including SOPs, Safety, Environmental, among others, for the PET members; ensure training profiles are kept updated; monitor performance to identify and address gaps in skills, competencies and determine when training is needed
· Coach the PET members in successfully implementing continuous improvement opportunities consistent with effective change management that drive business improvements with minimal business interruption
· Broker appropriate resources from skill centers in Operations and in AZ that will provide the appropriate support to the PET in the areas of team development and training, leadership coaching, and change management
· Ensure appropriate behaviors and group dynamics; monitor and intervene as appropriate in the PET when issues arise that may interfere with effective team functioning; bring in appropriate resources to address the situation as necessary and appropriate
· Responsible for developing and delivering some training content dependent on their area of expertise
· Coordinate continuous improvement efforts in the PET with the Sr. Director, Process Execution Team (PET Lead), Operational Excellence (OE) Lead, and PET Engineer
· Link to other PET Coaches and to Operational Excellence group to ensure cross PET working and the sharing of best practices
· Fully participating member of the Operational Excellence group for development, awareness of appropriate tools and techniques for specific needs and sharing of best practices
Responsibilities
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a behavioral science or related field with 5 or more years experience in a manufacturing or operations-based field/industry involving a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
· Knowledgeable in change management, team development, and leadership development tools and techniques
· Experience coaching leaders to enhance performance
· Experienced in demonstrating skills in the areas of: asking questions, listening, providing feedback, self-awareness
· Display of Leadership capabilities that support: customer focus, integration of diverse views, ability to make decisions under pressure, and develop an objective view of other’s capability to provide coaching and feedback in the moment and continually develop his/herself

· Pharmaceutical Industry experience
· Lean/Six Sigma experience
