Position Summary:

The Process Control engineer is responsible for all Advanced Control Applications throughout all processing units in the refinery.  Works independently to accomplish the tasks and objectives set forth by the process engineering supervisor and technical manager. Identifies new profit opportunities from unit optimization and introduces new technologies to the refinery. Must be able to work with a team of multiple disciplines to scope, justify, plan and implement control system projects. Additional duties include base loop tuning, technical support for DCS control systems, PI system administration, and support for process engineering and operations as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, computer science or other relevant discipline. Minimum 10 - 15 years of process control and process engineering experience within the petroleum refining industry preferred. Good background on base level regulatory control and instrumentation, experience in DCS Control system, familiarity with computer network, high level of analytical, problem solving skills, good organization, documentation and communication skills.
