Job Description: The Wells Fargo Wealth Management Group, East Bay is searching for a Private Client Associate 2. The Private Client Associate will be responsible for supporting the Regional Sr. Trust Manager and a team of three, and indirectly supporting multiple sales professionals and support staff to most efficiently balance competing priorities in order to serve their client relationships with account administration, sales activities and relationship management. Sales Professionals include: Trust Officers, Investment Managers, Private Bankers, Financial Consultants and Private Client Advisors. A person in this role should thrive in a fast-paced, multi-faceted sales environment. This person will: Prepare preliminary client correspondence and customized professional client presentation materials to support sales/marketing efforts Work with Trust Centers, Back Offices and Wells Fargo Stores to execute daily transactions for sales professionals in sales and credit support Research and resolve operational issues related to complex accounts Assist with financial/wealth planning such as less complex spreadsheet preparation and analysis Cross-sells products and services to existing clients Interact with clients to help profile and identify client retention issues as well as potential new business opportunities across product lines Provide work direction and training to partners and other team members May support multiple functional areas or a single functional area Be required to develop strong product knowledge and basic client relationship management skills to meet the financial needs of customers and may have accountability over simple accounts Be required for some data entry in various contact management systems and/or Trust databases
Minimum Qualifications: • BA/BS or Masters degree • Minimum 4+ yrs. experience in administrative or sales support, preferable with Trust and Investment Management. • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to work simultaneously with partners throughout organization • Advanced MS Office including complex spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations for both clients and internal partners • Must be able to think critically/analytically and be detail-oriented • Must be efficient in researching client data in both internal systems and external search engines
Preferred Skills: • Prior experience in financial services, preferable trust and investments
