A company in Santa Barbara, CA, has asked Adecco Engineering & Technical to find them an SAS programmer familiar with clinical trials data analysis and reporting. Along with a Computer Science Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, you’ll need five years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment, including two years in a leadership position. This is not a management position, but you will be expected lead teams, and will be responsible for on-time project completion of quality products to be used for analysis and regulatory submissions.

 

As the Principal Senior Programmer, you’ll lead teams with minimal supervision, and be responsible for the development, application, and support of clinical trials software. Software will use standard systems and macro utility programs, and must be within coding and quality standards. You’ll also be involved with ADS, TLG, and SOP development.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

-Experience with STATS, SQL, and SAS languages, such as Base and macro language SAS, Graph, and FSP

-Knowledge of and ability to apply data analysis principles such as p-values, linear regression analysis, randomization software, advanced general linear models, and non-parametric analysis

-Experience with UNIX systems, Oracle Clinical, and EDC preferred

-Understand clinical systems, medical terminology, and clinical trail methodologies.

-Experience with and/or understanding of FDA/ICH guidelines, SDLC, 21 CFR Part 11, and other FDA regulations and submission protocols
