This part time, non-benefited position works in the Inpatient Rehab and Acute setting with a diverse team approach to medically complex patients. The position will also see multiple diagnoses including: medically complex, ortho, CVA, neuro, oncology, and medical/surgical.

Imagine yourself –
· Evaluating the patient’s physical, perceptual, cognitive, social, and vocational abilities and your impact on your patient’s activities of daily living.
· Planning and implementing individual treatment to re-train and teach compensatory techniques for residual disability in activities of daily living, adapted homemaking techniques, bathroom transfers, functional application of mobility skills and, when appropriate, training in adapted work methods.
· Determining the need for and fabricating or providing assistive devices and/or splints to enhance patient’s functional independence. Also demonstrating your skills in the use of modalities, exercise equipment and other devices.
· Participating in performance improvement activities designed to identify and resolve problems affecting patient care outcome and to improve the quality of care.
· Planning for and completing patient discharge including: providing written home programs, patient/family teaching, referral for community services and ordering equipment.

· Wisconsin State Licensure required.
· Must obtain CPR certification within three months of hire.
· Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, organization, problem solving, and decision-making skills required.
· The ability to work self-directed and as a team. Customer service skills are essential.
· Positive and professional manner with strong communication skills.
