Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an experienced Plant Superintendent for its Joliet/Morris, Illinois facilities. This position is responsible for all phases of operations for the Joliet and Morris, IL air separation units. These facilities consist of a Gaseous Nitrogen plant serving Lyondell Chemicals in Morris, IL as well as a large tonnage plant serving Flint Hills Resources in Joliet, IL. This position reports to the LaSalle, IL site manager. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of the following: - A track record of success in safety, environmental, and the ability to interface successfully with customers and co-workers - Self motivated with a track record of completing projects/tasks assigned - Experience with operations of ASU process is a big plus but we will train the proper candidate - Electrical, mechanical, and instrument skills are a plus as well.
