Plant Controller Summary

Our client, a top manufacturing firm located in the Iowa area, is currently seeking to hire a Controller on a regular, full time basis. This firm offers a competitive salary and a great benefits package!

Controller is responsible for:

Coordinating and controlling the internal reporting processMaking recommendations for process enhancementsPreparing various account analysesAssisting in the monthly close processAnalyzing monthly financial statements and prepares summary report, highlighting variances and findings for CEO and Executive Vice Presidents of OperationsPreparing other analyses and reports, as requiredPreparing presentations for the firm's management as requestedInteracting with Chicago Support Office senior management and all levels of field management to identify and resolve problemsDirecting and coordinating the company’s internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

 

 

Essential Plant Controller Skills & Characteristics

Undergraduate degree with major in AccountingMBA preferredCPA a plusManufacturing experience preferred
