Job Summary:

The Plan Examiner II will:

-          Review commercial, residential and multi-family building plans for code and city ordinance compliance.

-          Will deal directly with the general public and design community, both in the office and on the phone answering questions about building codes, city ordinances, and FEMA regulations.

Qualified Candidates will be required to have:

-          Minimum qualifications are High School graduate or GED, with three years of related work experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, or  training.

-          Must be able to obtain a Coastal Construction Inspection Certification and an ICC Residential Plans Examiner Certification.

Hours Available: Monday-Friday; 8-5pm

Pay:  $14.88 per hour
