Job Description:

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Physician Recruiter in St. Louis, Missouri.  This position is responsible for recruiting quality full-time and part-time physicians and mid-level providers in a timely manner for hospital and clinic locations, as well as provider maintenance and timely responses to issues to ensure provider retention. The Primary Responsibilities will include:

 

Recruits full-time and part-time physicians and mid-level providers within appropriate time frames based on established performance standardsInitiates the placement of employment ads in various sources, to include, but not limited to, the internet and newspapersGenerates physician leads via cold calling and follows up on other leads such as responses to ads and mass mailingsScreens/interviews prospective candidates via telephone and in person at the organization’s office and client sitesDevelops and maintains a physician filing system for current and future openings in order to follow-up on contract renewals; sends contract renewal letters, with the approval of the Regional Manager; works closely with the Legal Department staff in contract set-up and verbiageEnsures that all physician files , Fees Department printouts, and physician contracts and amendments are updated and accurateMaintains accurate records on recruiting efforts and submits monthly and weekly reports, as needed and assignedCoordinates physician scheduling at contract sites each month, as needed and assigned, and ensures that required contract hours are filled by full-time and part-time providersInitiates correspondence to potential physicians by providing information to physicians about new client facilities and the organization’s policies

 Job Requirements:

The Physician Recruiter position will have the following requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree2-4 Years Recruiting Experience: Physician, Healthcare or Agency Recruiting Preferred Excellent Communication/Negotiation SkillsBe Self-Motivated and a Problem Solver  Good Organization and Time ManagementCandidates must Demonstrate the Ability to Meet Deadlines Advanced proficiency in various computer applications, e.g. word processing, excel spreadsheet, e-mail, database management and presentation software
