The Minnesota Department of Human Services, State Operated Services is looking for an outgoing, creative and motivated individual to fill a healthcare recruiting position. Description: State Operated Services (SOS) is a health care organization with over 500 beds and 5200 employees with locations all over the State of Minnesota. Promote SOS as an employer of choice and attract qualified job seekers in the health care field. Provide leadership in the coordination and communication of recruitment activities. Provide consultation services, recruitment information and services to agency staff so they can implement their employment strategies. Establish and maintain recruitment sources, and other recruitment tools such as the SOS jobs website as well as the use of other recruitment websites of choice in the health care arena. Travel extensively, both in and out state, in order to participate in job fairs, conferences and the like as well as doing extensive promotion of SOS employment in colleges, vocational schools and high schools. Increase applicant pools, enhance applicant and outcome tracking, improve applicant and supervisor communication, and enhance professional website advertising. Perform work to promote participation in workforce diversity (AA/EEO/ADA/Diversity) in order to increase representation in all levels within SOS including executive recruitment.
Qualifications: You must have a Bachelors degree and a minimum of three years of professional allied health care recruiting expereince.
Expereince should demonstrate the ability to determine customer recruitment needs and recommend solutions and develop recruitment strategies or work plans; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks; strong oral and written communication skills sufficient to prepare and present information to stakeholders. Must also have the ability to develop professional relationships and deal effectively with a variety of business partners. Skill in writing/developing marketing materials. This posiiton requires a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. The ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, stretch, stand for extended periods of time and walk considerable distances.
Benefits: We offer a competitive base salary. In addition, the state's contribution toward your insurance, retirement, and Medicare and Social Security benefits is equal to 30 percent of your salary. This does not include the cost of vacation time, holidays, sick leave and other benefits. Employees earn 11 paid holidays per year. Health insurance is free to employees who work 3/4 time or more. Dependent coverage is $63.00 semi-monthly. Dental insurance is $2.50 semi-monthly for employee coverage.
