Physician Assistant

The Division of Substance Abuse of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a dynamic, dedicated and interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who serve the underserved.  Together, we are helping to address serious public health issues by providing primary care services along with substance abuse treatment to our community’s at risk population. 

The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients with substance use disorders, including methadone-related care and general and HIV-related medical care (history taking, physical examination, ordering and interpretation of laboratory and other diagnostic tests, documentation, performing PPDs, immunizations and other medical treatment).

Qualifications:

A current registration with the NY State Education Department as a Physician Assistant is required.  Bilingual Spanish and expertise in substance abuse/HIV preferred.
