Dyersburg Regional Medical Center (DRMC) is a 225 bed, acute care hospital located in Dyersburg, Tennessee and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The facility is also certified by the American Heart Association as a GWTG (Get with the Guidelines) facility which recognizes hospitals for care of patients with coronary artery disease. DRMC opened an emergency department addition in April 2006 which offers 24-hour emergency care and includes a fast-track service for those patients seeking non-emergency care. DRMC offers a full range of services including intensive care, medical/surgical care, orthopedics, gastroenterology, OB/GYN, urology, E.N.T., endocrinology, and diagnostic imaging. Evaluates, administers and directs administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner.  Establishes goals of physical therapy and re-assesses patient’s progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation.

Education:

Entry level Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school

Certificates / Licenses:

Board Certified / Eligible New graduates acceptable
