Pharmacist Needed
Vermillion Group (West/North Platte, Nebraska)

Our client hospital located in western Nebraska is searching for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including our in-patient pharmacy, retail pharmacy, and assisted-living facility.

The pharmacist will be trained in our fully-computerized pharmacies to perform both clinical and operational services.

These services include, but aren't limited to:

• Unit dose drug distribution
• Intravenous admixtures including chemotherapy and total parenteral nutrition
• Monitoring and adjusting drug therapy
• Answering drug information requests
• Assisting in the management of medical emergencies
• Providing patient counseling
• Performing chart reviews
• Providing diabetic education
• Dialysis, pulmonary, and cardiac rehabilitation and hospice services
• Participating in committees, and providing educational in-services to staff as necessary
